Description
Floor gratings consist of bearing rods and connecting rods. The connecting rods of welded gratings are welded to bearing rods. Floor gratings are custom made, the dimensions and sizes are determined by the specific need of each customer. The gratings fulfill the requirements of DIN 24 537 standard. NOVING also supplies other types of gratings such as pressed gratings (connecting rods are connected to bearing rods by pressing), stainless gratings and special anti-slippage serration gratings. Clips for attaching gratings to the supporting structure are offered as well.

Usage

The main advantages of floor gratings include easy floor cleaning, high load capacity with low weight, easy assembly and disassembly.
Surface protections, dimension tolerances
Gratings are supplied according to customer’s requirements with the following surface protection options: hot dipped galvanizing according to ČSN EN ISO 1461, painted, raw - without surface protection, other ways of surface protection. Basic dimension tolerance is 0 to -4mm, for details see guideline.
Grating layout plan
Supply of gratings may include grating layout plan free of charge.
Length and width, recommended arrangement, load capacity
The length is the size of grating in the direction of bearing rods. It corresponds to the span of supports - see the picture. The width is the size of grating in the direction perpendicular to bearing rods. Usual width is 1000mm.
The nominal size of grating mesh is usually 30x30, other options are 30x45, 30x70, 30x100, 40x100 etc. The size of bearing rod is usually 30x3 or 30x2, other options are 20x2, 20x3, 25x2, 25x3, 40x2, 40x3 etc.
Grating load is determined by the length, span support and the size of bearing rod. Detailed tables can be found in this website, or by contacting our business division.
